Web Ministry
Web Ministry at the Manassas Adventist Church is at first glance all that goes into to running this website. However, web ministry is really about sharing the gifts, talents, and message of the Manassas Seventh-Day Adventist Church to the larger community.
The goal for this Ministry is to have another avenue of reaching out and contributing for our community.
How can I get involved?
There are many ways you can get involved in this electronic ministry. Listed below are just a few of the needs and ways to get involved in web ministry at the Manassas Adventist Church.
- Calendar Maintainer:
- Graphic Artist: See the graphic up at the top. We need someone with photoshop (or some similar program) who can contribute different graphics for the top of the page on a regular basis in addition to any other graphics you may want to contribute.
- Content Managers: There is a LOT of content that we would like to continue adding to the website all the time. A content manager is in charge of a particular section of the website and is responsible for keeping it updated.
- Journalist: Responsible for documenting church activities and loading them on the church web page. This includes collecting pictures and writing up stories.
- Webmaster Assistant: Assist in the nitty gritty of running the website. If you have some php experience, this is a perfect opportunity.
- Idea Generator/Team Member: More than anything else, we want this website to be a resource for the community and those in search of a church home and/or a better relationship with God. If you have ideas on how to do the better, we would like to hear from you.
Want to get involved, but not sure you have the right skills? Remember, God qualifies the willing. And, we can teach most of the skills needed to help out in this ministry.
